I've just gotten 1.12.0 installed this morning from source. After some cleanup of old kernels and doing a restart I noticed this in my syslog - https://pastebin.com/ngjgmCHp can I safely assume that this is just the new version going through the initialization process? If not, what should be my next step? Other than still seeing this Mar 21 14:55:07 localhost tracker-extract.desktop[3313]: (tracker- extract:3313): dconf-CRITICAL **: unable to create file '/run/user/1000/dconf/user': Permission denied. dconf will not work properly. what's in the link above seems to have stopped. Since I have the Ubuntu package version 1.8.3 installed and installed 1.12 from source how can I make sure 1.12 is being used instead of 1.8.3?
