Hi Vishesh,

It's a long time item on the wishlist to have more fine grained access
control on Tracker's metadata (which applications are permitted to
access which data). This is (just) an idea on how to implement it.

The subject is a reference to a movie.

Kind regards,

Philip

Hi everyone,

I think that not duplicate storage of metadata (a rightful reason
to wanting to store the metadata in the attrs of files) or the
speed to access it (why it's currently a sqlite 'index' instead
of using UNIX tools like find and locate - or why pipe() can't
solve everything), is going to be the issue in future.

What brought this on?

I can't seem to find anything regarding "Las Vegas tracker or
gnome"
