beware of github forks! :)

$ git remote -v
origin  git github com:curlybeast/libmediaart.git (fetch)
origin  git github com:curlybeast/libmediaart.git (push)
$ git remote rm origin
$ git remote add origin git github com:GNOME/libmediaart.git
$ git fetch origin
...
$

Now it works. *cough* :)
