I cannot write code unfortunately, so I am afraid I won't be able to
provide a patch myself.
I actually realised that the trackerbird seems to be working after
sending the original email due to the note in lower right of my TB window.
What is really needed though is a function to include/exclude folders.
With gmail archive and several high volume lists on GMANE, the tracker
thinks there are 300k messages to index and freezes in despair as a result.
