[Tracker] tracker indexing content of archives?

Hi. I'm new to using tracker. It seems that tracker is not indexing the content of archive files (zip, tar, gz, etc). Is there a configuration option that I'm missing? Or does tracker require a plugin to achieve this functionality? Thanks.
