Hi,
Just an idea - it would be quite nice to have next to the "Indexing
speed" slider in the preferences dialogue box, a toggle switch to
pause indexing. This would make it, after the discontinuation of the
indicator applet, much easier to pause indexing. Also, an option
"pause indexing for X minutes" would be quite useful.
We had/have that, it is the "throttle" configuration. I have removed it
in the SCHED_IDLE branch which should make it to master/0.12.3 because
it's not as effective as the new sched_setsched() call we use with the
new options I added. This is what it looks like:
