Hi,
I followed the instructions and PDF seemed enabled after the ./configure
command
(PDF : yes) or something like that.
However no luck finding any search terms inside PDFs after reindex (no
pdfs at all show up in search).
Are there any plans to package into a deb file for ubuntu? It would be
nice to have it in the ubuntu repos.
Hmm, this sounds quite similar to a bug we have which I haven't finished
chasing up on actually.

Does tracker-search find the files if you use:
tracker-search -t searchterm
Is FTS enabled in configure?
Where in the PDF is the search term?
If all of this fails, it is worth looking at the output from
tracker-extract to see if we're getting the words you expect to find.
You can test this with:
/usr/libexec/tracker-extract -v 3 -f $myfilename
The output should show nie:plainTextContent with the words you can query.
Hope this helps.
