Can you try with 0.10.15 and let me know if this is still an issue?
tracker-control now says "idle" instead of "Not running or is a
disabled
plugin" for E-mails so that is an improvement. But when I use the
desktop search applet to find any mail, nothing shows up for any of
the
terms I enter for any of my e-mails. Is there a way to query the
tracker
database on the number of e-mails it contains?
Yes, in the GUI you can click on the small star and look for
nmo:Message
(iirc). Note that tracker does not index the body of emails, only
subject,
from/to etc. This is because indexing the body of emails would kill
evolution.
Cheers
Adrien
