I think GUPnP DLNA is the protocol to share data between devices in
home.
In my knowledge, I think dlna miner more appropriate than extractor .
Or, Does this extractor prepared for dlna miner that can scan dlna
server?
The gupnp-dlna extractor is a thin wrapper around the gstreamer
discoverer API which not only can extract the media meta-data but also
guess the DLNA-specific profiles these media-files conform to.
The information is stored in tracker and can be used by UPnP servers
(such as e.g. Rygel) to expose tracker content via UPnP/DLNA.
AFAIK an UPnP miner is currently in development.
