I spent some time last week upgrading the ubuntu packaging to 0.9.26 in
the unstable PPA of Tracker Team in Launchpad, the work is done in:
https://code.launchpad.net/~aleksander-m/tracker/tracker.head.aleksander

It's still pending review from Chris Coulson anyway, so I guess it would
be available sometime during this next week.
