Re: [Tracker] Ontology import without hard reset

Hi Michal,

Yes but it is not supported for "external" applications, just for the tracker internal ontologies. I.E. We
don't support applications adding/removing ontologies in the post-install scripts.

If you need to extend/modify tracker ontologies you can do it on the existing files. The supported changes
are listed here:
http://live.gnome.org/Tracker/Documentation/SupportedOntologyChanges

Of course, we prefer to check your ontology changes and if they make sense include them in the upstream
ontology.

 Regards,

Ivan

Subject: [Tracker] Ontology import without hard reset

Hi guys,

I was wondering, if it is possible to import a new ontology to the tracker without issuing a hard reset of
tracker (tracker-control -rs)?

Regards,
Michal.
