is it possible for tracker to insert metadata in user-provided SQLite database. Here, if i don't have direct access to database, then i am thinking that tracker should maintain metadata for each device in separate SQLite database provided by user to avoid table scanning & increased response time. This will be very useful features in our environment.

You use SPARQL and libtracker-client

More info available here:

Any form of direct access to the SQLite database will also _always_
require talking SPARQL. We don't provide any direct access to the SQLite
database at this moment by the way.

Cheers,

Philip
