Hello Alex,
the Flickr miner requires an association step to associate the miner
and your Flickr account. As of today, there is no gtk interface to do
that. There is however a MeegoTouch based one. Writing a gtk based one
would not be hard, but I have yet to do it. You can motivate me by
offering me beers, or kicking my butt.

PS. You can associate the miner without having a GUI using d-feet, or
any dbus client. There is a wiki page,
