If there is any interest I can ask my org if I can release my version of the T-S-T.  I did pretty much a complete re-write of the app in Vala.  The results look very .6.96ish except for the lack of snippets which I plan to add.  For my use I needed to keep an audit trail of searches run so the .8.x release version of the T-S-T just would not do.  It runs searches as you type which makes audits a real mess.  I also wanted List mode vs Icon and I wanted a paginated display with forward and backward buttons ala .6.96.  I also needed results numbers for total and by category.
