We probably will follow this path: more secure for me (I'm yet prone to
errors while handling this damn git stuff...) and for you (so to
evaluate with no risk for your work).

Is there already a Tracker's gitorious repository to branch, or have I
to start a new one? Any special rule to follow?

The only one on gitorious is being used for Maemo purposes. So better
create a new gitorious project and push a clone of GNOME's master or
something.

Note that it's fine to use git.gnome.org for us too
