I forgot to mention one other issue with the T-S-T in 0.8.x and
unfortunately for me it is a bad one! I call the T-S-T from scripts
and provide search terms and the T-S-T no longer accepts search terms
as an option from the command line. I took a look at the source code
and there is a comment about search terms as input, but it was not
implemented. This source code I presume is Genie which is compiled by
Vala into C code? Are there plans to implement this, and if not would
there be a problem with my doing it and providing the code? I admit
Genie is something I have never used and I am sure there will be a
learning curve!
Ken
feel free to supply a patch.
Genie is very easy to learn and should not be a problem and yes the vala
compiler is used to compile it
We certainly do want to bring 0.8 TST into feature parity with 0.6
version ASAP
thanks
