Hi guys,
I was playing with the website layout.
It's in the tracker_0.7 branch on gnomeweb-wml.
I attach a screenshoot just to give you an idea :)
I think a lot of what is written there is outdated so we need a
massive update on the content side!
Hi.
Just a few comments. I think the colours could be better to be honest, I
also think the menu should just be at the top instead. I would make the
purpleish colour you use there the blue colour that is used in the
header - so things are more consistent.
About the Supported data sources, I wouldn't mention any of that. I
would simply add some blurb talking about all the technologies we
currently advocate:
SparQL
Nepomuk
etc.
I would link to those too. Also use a blurb like this (which is more up
to date):
"Tracker is a semantic data storage for the desktop and mobile devices.
It allows the user to keep track of the data stored on their devices and
online sources and extract relationships in an automated fashion.
Tracker uses W3C standards for RDF ontologies using Nepomuk and SPARQL
queries.
"Tracker stores metadata and content allowing full text searching of
your data."
I would provide links for "semantic data storage" [1], for "RDF" [2],
for "SPARQL" [3], "Nepomuk" [4], "full text searching" [5], "metadata" [6].
I would also mention FTS support somehow and metadata support too.

Perhaps we could add more to this page... any suggestions?
