Hi,
Hi,
Is there a way to use wildcards in searching, or otherwise enable
finding partial words/phrases. Currently, if I I search fore example
"vaahtera" Tracker Search Tool doesn't show
"suuri-vaahtera-haiku.xcf". I have to write the whole filename before
it appears on the results.
It depends on which tool you use. tracker-search-bar and tracker-search
should append a "*" for you. This *should* find that file name if you
type "suuri", but it won't find it if you use "vaahtera" right now.
We are looking into improving this.
This certainly seems like a FAQ, but I couldn't find any answer from the web.
The website is really out of date.
