Hi tracker-list,
i'm using Ubuntu 9.10(Karmic) and experiencing following error:
Nov 1 20:30:27 novel kernel: [30581.251999] tracker-indexer[7127]:
segfault at 0 ip 004a3c0f sp bf8c26d0 error 4 in

everytime tracker starts working.
How can i further debug it tracker-indexer and find the actual problem?
Can you use gdb /usr/libexec/tracker-store
Then run with -v 3
Then use tracker-control -s to start the miners.
Hey Martyn, good morning!
Judging from the binary's name tracker-indexer and from his Ubuntu
version I think Alexander is using a Tracker 0.6.
Meaning that he'll need to throw tracker-indexer into gdb and use
tracker-processes instead of tracker-control (I think).
To clean everything up and start again, you can use tracker-control -r.
Make sure you built with -g for debug symbols.
Yah, Alexander: use export CFLAGS="-O0 -ggdb" before
running ./autogen.sh
