We're making it possible to pause the indexer using DBus, so using
dbus-send it'll be possible to do this (for example).
Martyn is (or has) implementing this. Added Martyn in CC.

ahoy all,
have been looking at various tracker-utils and associated man
pages/FAQS/forums/etc, trying to find a way to
control/pause/throttle/etc the trackerd from the command line (i.e.
from a script). can someone point me in the right direction or at
least let me know if it is possible?
