Hi, it was brought to my attention, that o3read has been deprecated in favour of odt2txt [1] Attached is a patch, which: 1.) Uses odt2txt for filters/application/vnd.* 2.) Removes src/text-filters/ooo_converter/*, as the inlined copy of o3totxt is obsolete. (and fix the Makefile.amS and configure.ac) 3.) Add odt2txt to README as recommended dependency. I have decided to not inline a copy of odt2txt. All major distros (I checked Debian, Ubuntu, openSUSE and Fedora) ship the odt2txt utility. Please review the attached patch (generated from trunk. applies to indexer-split with minor modifications) and test it with you OOo documents.
