Re: [Tracker] search which indexing and initialSleep

1. Well, actually it took 3 minutes to start indexing with the InitialSleep=5. I have no idea why it waits
for that long.

2. I modified the tracker.cfg to have the LowMenoryMode=false and BatteryIndex=false.
    During the indexing, I clicked the "statistics" from the tracker-applet icon and the applet crashed
saying "segmentation fault".

3. There were a bunch of lines saying "ERROR: unknown service Application" in In the
/root/.login/share/tracker/tracker.log file,

It happened after I modified the tracker.cfg file.
Now I am modifying the SmartPause=2 to SmartPause=0 from the tracker-applet.cfg to see if this speeds up.
I am still using the src tree from 4/30/08. Any help would be appreciated.

Subject: search which indexing and initialSleep

I am using the tracker from the trunk src which is the 4/30/08 build.

1) InitialSleep=5 in the tracker.cfg doesn't seem to work. It waits for a while and starts indexing. Any idea
why?
2)
    WatchDirectory=;
    CrawlDirectory=/mnt/Documents and settings;
    This doesn't seem to work (I don't want watching).
   But the following works:
    WatchDirectory=/mnt/Documents and settings;
    CrawlDirectory=
    EnableWatching=false
    This seems to work (I don't want watching).

3) I was trying to search some keys while indexing but no results at all until all indexing is done. Do I
have to wait until it is done?

Should I update the source to the latest?
Thanks,
Jin
