After install both of library, it works perfectly for .doc file. But it still cannot index any of .docx file I have. I wonder if MS Word 2007 support depends on wv's? I grasped some feature of wv, and tried $ wvVersion xenosoz.doc && wvText xenosoz.doc xenosoz.txt #MS Word 97-2003 format Version: word8 or higher, Encrypted: No $ wvVersion xenosoz.docx && wvText xenosoz.docx xenosoz.txt #MS Word 2007 format Version: word2 (maybe), Encrypted: No Could not convert into HTML And would you mind give me any information about whether Tracker supports for {Excel, PowerPoint, Word} {2003, 2007} or not because the official page does not give me any further information. Thank you. Tracker did support WORD documents header and full-text indexing. It uses libgsf to index head, and use wv to do the full-text indexing. Please check whether these two modules are installed on your system. Thanks, Halton.
