I attached a patch that illustrates the skeleton of the project that will implement support for this Metadata format in Tracker, as a EPlugin that'll be installed by the Tracker package (at least initially). This is a bug for tracking the progression on this. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565091 ps. Bug# 565082 (above) will of course block Bug #565091.
