Re: [Tracker] How to enable the Thunderbird backend?

I used the tracker.xpi included in the SVN trunk (with the TB patch)...
Same problem with the xpi in the blog.

By the way, and i don't now if it is related I sometimes have trackerd
crashes with :

FATAL ERROR: can't open database at
/home/MYLOGIN/.cache/tracker/home/MYLOGIN/.cache/tracker/tmp-file-index.db

Hello David,
The way it works:

1. Thunderbird extension is producing the TMS (thunderbird message
summary) file and places in the .xesam folder. For this the extension
should be enabled in the Thunderbird.

already done.. extension installed and enabled...
By the way, I'm using TB 2.0, is it ok for the extension?

I have tested on TB 2.0 and it is fine.

Where did you get this extension from/What OS are you running?

Can you try the one from here?:
http://blogs.sun.com/migi/entry/have_you_ever_searched_lost

If you will run Thunderbird from the command line and enable extension,
what is happening (you should get messages Writing MailMessage to file)?

Do you have any message in the Error console? (Tools->Error Console)
