Hi guys,
i've got a big problem with v0.6.2. I compiled the latest svn on ubuntu
feisty after installing sqlite 3.4.2 from sources. Unfortunately now all
indexings following the first one don't work: all changes in watched
dirs are "invisibles", although seems tracker extracts data from new
files and sizes of ~/.cache/tracker/*.db increase. I also tried to run
with -v 3, changes are apparently catched but this doesn't reflect on
query results.
In particular, i noticed that trackerd works good only if indexing
starts when dirs in ~/.cache, ~/.local/share and ~/.config don't exist;
in this case all content of my home is indexed correctly and search
results are good.
Therefore if i run with --reindex without deleting dirs above - e.g.
with my preferences set - any subsequent queries yield no results even
if tracker-stats reports more than 6000 files indexed.
this is a known bug and was fixed in svn a day or two after 0.6.2 was
released
