hello,

since Tracker 0.6.2, trackerd do not find the data it stored while
indexing after it restart.

So, I run trackerd and it indexes my files correctly but if I close it
(with C-c or when closing my session it is not important) and then I
restart it, it do not find the indexed content: it just think that my
documents are already indexed... If I run tracker-stats, I can see
that :

default : 0
Files : 2
Folders : 0
Documents : 0
Images : 0
Music : 0
Videos : 0
Text : 0

Except the 0 for files instead of something like 60,000 I saw quite
strange results like "-10" documents (yes "-10" not "10")...

If I search something (with tracker-search or TST), it does not find
anything that has been indexed in a previous trackerd session.

Any ideas?

stats is broken - they get reset everytime you start trackerd

I have just committed a fix for this

pls try again with latest svn

It seems to work now. :-)

But I'm unhappy with the way stop-word handling is done. If I try word
"hello" in TST for instance, it do not find anything because it is a
stop-word and so it is removed from search text as such. Problem is that
"hello" is also title of some of songs I have on my computer and now I
cannot find them anymore.
But perhaps we should just remove this word from the stop-word list.

I think some metadata should not have stopwords applied (filename, email
subjects, audio title/album etc)
