[Tracker] RFE: support for removable media

I'm wondering if anyone is planning removable media support for tracker.
I mean, we have a beautiful documents indexer here that is tracker, why not use it for removable media too?
I know that removable media has some peculiarity (it's removable) but maybe it can be useful (and that can be a distinguish feature).
Here is a couple of user stories:
 * Automatic indexing: when a media is inserted (CD/DVD/USB) a process is started and the media is indexed. If the media has never been seen previously (determined by the media unique-id), 1) the user is asked to confirm to index the media 2) then he can add a media label and tags, 3) the entire media is crawled (conforming with the exclusions) and metadata are inserted into the tracker db along with the media label, tags and unique-identifier. Otherwise nothing happens. 
 * Search media catalog: the user launch the search tool, he can choose to search the removable media catalog (checkbox, radio button), than he enters the query / search terms, the relevant results from removable media are displayed. The user double clicks one result entry and a dialog appears asking the user to "insert media XYZ". After the users inserted the media, the document is opened.
 * Tagging and other meta-data related activities can be done as usual.
