[Tracker] Huge cache size

Hello,

I just installed tracker to my Fedora 7 desktop and the indexing seems to have almost finished.
Then I found that the cache files are huge.
Here is the result of "ls -lh" in ~/.cache/tracker/

-rw------- 1 aso aso 12K 2007-10-24 17:56 email-contents.db
-rw------- 1 aso aso 1.2M 2007-10-24 17:56 email-index.db
-rw------- 1 aso aso 96K 2007-10-24 17:56 email-meta.db
-rw------- 1 aso aso 167M 2007-10-25 16:03 file-contents.db
-rw------- 1 aso aso 1.4G 2007-10-25 17:26 file-index.db
-rw------- 1 aso aso 13M 2007-10-24 21:31 file-index.tmp.1
-rw------- 1 aso aso 12M 2007-10-24 21:32 file-index.tmp.2
-rw------- 1 aso aso 12M 2007-10-24 21:43 file-index.tmp.3
-rw------- 1 aso aso 14M 2007-10-24 22:01 file-index.tmp.4
-rw------- 1 aso aso 14M 2007-10-25 12:51 file-index.tmp.5
-rw------- 1 aso aso 4.5G 2007-10-25 17:28 file-meta.db
-rw------- 1 aso aso 304K 2007-10-25 17:28 file-meta.db-journal
-rw------- 1 aso aso 1.2M 2007-10-25 17:26 file-update-index.db

The total is 6.1GB.
My home directory contains about 24GB of data (text files, pdf, OpenOffice documents, jpg, mp3, etc.)
Can someone tell me if this is normal ?

I used google desktop and beagle in the past on the same machine.
The google desktop cache was about 858MB.
The beagle cache was about 880MB.
These values are after the initial indexing has been finished.

If this cache size is abnormal for tracker (I hope it is the case), I will delete the cache and let tracker
re-index the entire home directory.
The version of tracker I'm using is 0.6.3 (installed from Fedora 7 yum repository).

Thank you,
Yoichi Aso
