although the indexing process has not changed in this version, the new
applet uses new progress and state change signals to keep an eye on
whats going on while it indexes

check, strace reports a block on a poll() when I detach the power cable.

A few points:

 * README says we require sqlite >= 3.3, but 3.4 is what is really needed.
 * Enabling Unac causes instant segfault in trackerd

Tracker has now finished indexing my drive, but there are a few gotchas:

 - tracker-status (and applet) reports that trackerd is indexing, but I can see that it is in fact just polling.

 - i cannot search any music/audio. tracker-stats reports that I have a few thousand Music items,  but i cannot find them with tracker-search or tst.
