Thank you - I will try adding this (my sysctl.conf does
not contain such a line with any value)!
Just out of curiosity: if this is a system-wide limit,
why did it not inhibit Beagle? I have exactly the same
list of directories to search and ignore in both
the configs for Beagle and Tracker.
Is there a reason why the default is so low, in other
words, could there be negative effects of increasing
this to, say, 60000?
