Patch for 7 and 8 is attached. The patch also remove the categories
toolbar, but don't provide the "Categories" header, and make a little
more beautiful the search results string.


Forgot to mention: try current and patched version with all themes
provided by gnome-themes package (yeah, HighContrast and LowContrast
too). IMHO the patched version is better.
