Tango project. However in the case of Tracker a telescope is a very good idea. In my opinion one should emphasize that
Tracker searches 'deep down under the surface', i.e. many different file formats are indexed. So a microscope might be
even better.

What about something like
http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/artwork/Oxygen/theme/svg/actions/find.svg?rev=598903

I like the icon, because it pictures the word "track"er in a nice way.

Indeed, that is very nice. I thought about sth like that too before..
I've created a little mix of the find (from oxygen), search (from tango)
and the beagle icon (the colors)
http://www.mant1core.de/tracker.svg

It's not very original since it's only a mixup of existing icons, but
it's not that bad, imho ;). maybe better than the default search icon
used atm.
I've redrawn the track though, instead of using the one from oxygen
directly as i did with the magnifyier from tango.

grtz,
Björn

Cheers,
Michael
