Spotted two places, that have to be updated for the configure.in -> configure.ac move: autogen.sh and Makefile.am. While inspecting Makefile.am I also removed standard stuff from EXTRA_DIST which is automatically included in make dist. There is no need to explicitly list files like README or NEWS there.
