Hi, according to [1] the current use of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE is deprecated. The attached patch fixes that and also enables the creation of bz2 tarballs. This reduces the size of the tarball about ~30% (1.3 Mb -> 1.0 Mb). Which imho is nice service for people still forced to use dialup connections.
