[Tracker] one question about inotify

when I configure tracker trunk code on solaris,

it tells me that

file monitor backend to be used: polling only
inotify header location: none
ioprio support: no


It detects some kernel features, such as inotify
which is to monito file system change,

but I want to know that solaris doesnot support inotify,
how it will impact tracker's features on solaris?


btw: I have no linux box at hand, I want to know
when configure tracker on linux, what are the values for
file monitor backend to be used?
