Thanks a lot for your work on tracker. I really like the new GUI tools. First I found out that the configuration program cannot create a default configuration if none is available. Second I tried evolution mail indexing and it doesn't seem to work. I have one POP account, my gmail, with rules to classify stuff into folders. At the end of tracker's output I get this : indexing #1 - /home/phaeronix/.evolution/mail/local/Inbox.sbd/LKML.ibex.index but searching returns 0 hits from email. My .evolution/mail/local looks like this : ls -1R .: Archive.ev-summary-meta Drafts Drafts.cmeta Drafts.ev-summary Drafts.ev-summary-meta Drafts.ibex.index Drafts.ibex.index.data Gmail Archive.ev-summary-meta Inbox Inbox.cmeta Inbox.ev-summary Inbox.ev-summary-meta Inbox.ibex.index Inbox.ibex.index.data Inbox.sbd Outbox Outbox.cmeta Outbox.ev-summary Outbox.ev-summary-meta Outbox.ibex.index Outbox.ibex.index.data Sent Sent.cmeta Sent.ev-summary Sent.ev-summary-meta Sent.ibex.index Sent.ibex.index.data ./Inbox.sbd: LKML LKML.cmeta LKML.ev-summary LKML.ev-summary-meta LKML.ibex.index LKML.ibex.index.data LKML.sbd Tracker Tracker.cmeta Tracker.ev-summary Tracker.ev-summary-meta Tracker.ibex.index Tracker.ibex.index.data Tracker.sbd ./Inbox.sbd/LKML.sbd: DVB DVB.cmeta DVB.ev-summary DVB.ev-summary-meta DVB.ibex.index DVB.ibex.index.data HOTPLUG HOTPLUG.cmeta HOTPLUG.ev-summary HOTPLUG.ev-summary-meta HOTPLUG.ibex.index HOTPLUG.ibex.index.data MUSCLE MUSCLE.cmeta MUSCLE.ev-summary MUSCLE.ev-summary-meta MUSCLE.ibex.index MUSCLE.ibex.index.data REISER4 REISER4.cmeta REISER4.ibex.index REISER4.ibex.index.data SDHCI SDHCI.cmeta SDHCI.ev-summary SDHCI.ev-summary-meta SDHCI.ibex.index SDHCI.ibex.index.data UNIONFS UNIONFS.cmeta UNIONFS.ev-summary UNIONFS.ev-summary-meta UNIONFS.ibex.index UNIONFS.ibex.index.data ./Inbox.sbd/Tracker.sbd: As you can see, each folder has it's own index. Maybe tracker needs to index *.ibex.index ? This is on gentoo. Thank you.
