hi. This is the first (of Im sure many many) attempts to add a preferences interface for tracker into the repository. This should still be considered more or less experimental. As such, I have it set to be disabled unless you pass --enable-preferences to the configure script. It will require copying of tracker.png to the tracker-preferences directory, as its a binary file. I can not really say if it will work perfectly (installation wise) or not since I developed it out of the tree and then merged it back in. Just incase users are interested, it does not require any GNOME specific bits. Its using glib, GTK+, and libglade. But if you are a GNOME user, it should show up in the control panel.
