"Brasero is yet another application to burn CD/DVD for the gnome
desktop. It is designed to be as simple as possible and has some unique
features to enable users to create their discs easily and quickly."
from http://perso.orange.fr/bonfire/
In the long list of unique features in Brasero there is the "search
support". Essentially, Brasero has an integrated search pane that you
can use to search files on you computer. See [1] and [2] for screenshot.
Unfortunately the only search engine currently used by Brasero is
Beagle :-(
Can someone try to add support to Tracker, as Nautilus does? So you can
compile both at make-time and use the available one. This is another
step in Tracker world domination ;-)
For more info, see the Brasero homepage (the link above) and/or grab
brasero developmente sources from GNOME CVS. If you are using jhbuild,
I've just added it to gnome-2.16 and gnome-2.18 modulesets, so update
your jhbuild local copy and run `jhbuild buildone brasero`.
