Try updating debian/changelog. This works on my Edgy running
`dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot`

Beagle saves 4 entries for each filename: 
ExactFilename:    this-is-the_exact_file(name).txt
Filename:         this-is-the_exact_file(name)
Extension:        txt
NoPunctFilename:  this is the exact file name
