Would be cool if we could break down the results display into Documents,
Music, Images, OtherFiles etc like Spotlight and Holmes
Yes, I have some plans for that, but it will require a fair bit of work. But in time both deskbar and barracuda will benefit from it.

Are you doing this async? (IE in a seperate thread like nautilus does)
Right now I'm just doing it "the easy way". With time I'll do it properly with GdkPixbufLoaders and the whole shebang. Release early - releaseoften, as they say ;-P
