That URL and version of Tomboy should work fine.  Glad it's all working now.  I suspect some weird DNS issue, a temporary server glitch, or something similar.  Thanks for bearing with us. :-)

Interesting.  What version of Tomboy are you using?  If it's 1.2.0 or newer, that error indicates that either the server is not returning correct response for basic API, or that you're not really authenticated, or that you're somehow pinging the wrong server.

What URL did you put in Tomboy's sync preferences?  Can you clear your sync preferences, restart Tomboy, and try again?
