BTW it's done. Release 1.0 is coming. I contacted Mark Doffman because
python bindings are not built in the 1.0 branch. As he is very busy
right now and cannot take a look to them until Tuesday it'd be nice if
any Python expert could take a look at them and fix the remaining issues.
