bug in POP3 backend

Hi All,
I'm having some problems with the POP3 backend. I don't have a real clue so far I just see free() running in to an "invalid pointer". The strange thing is that if I configure an IMAP account everything just works fine with my code.
My question now is, are there known problems with the POP3 backend?
I've tried svn/trunk and 0.0.8 from today. I'm running on X86, SSL is NSS.
