It appears that "disabled" here means that you deleted the calendar and
addressbook backends.

eds-dbus has a pristine Camel and libedataserver, and the calendar and
addressbook APIs are identical.  There is one change generally required
in EDS extensions, changing any bonobo_object_ref() call to
g_object_ref().
