I reverted this change last week because I suspected that it was causing 
weird hangs in the clients. But I was wrong, the hang was caused by a 
tny_folder_refresh issued at the same time that some async calls. My 
idea is to reenable it again to get proper values for read/unread counts 
in folder monitors.
