That's a no-can-do due to the refactoring of the control-center.
It has been rewritten this way because of programs such as XST wishing
to integrate with the control center. It is infeasible to require every
program wishing to appear in the control center to have to write to a
particular API in order to do so.

On a more personal note, the old control center design was responsible
for an enormous amount of UI and instability bugs which I have to now
clear out of bugzilla, so I'm not particularly inclined to spend my time
reimplementing it.
