As the CVS logs must show, we've got users-admin password handling
completly done, or at least it seems to work on my computer. It depends on
a pam-based system in order to detect if you have md5 passwords enabled,
and it is not flexible at all about looking for your pam.d/passwd
directory.

We really need a test machine with lots of distros installed here at the
office in Mexico, but just to think about installing all those dirty
distributions makes me dizzy.
