Hans, I take note of this, I discussed this with Taylor at the office
for a couple of hours and with Jacob, and we looked at various systems
and we figured that the Mac was the best way.

I have probably spent six hours debating that topic at the office so
far.  Also, the fact that Gtk+ has a bizarre mechanism for handling
the selection has made this even more complicated than it should.
