Network interfaces configuration.

Hello guys,

   It does not seem like the setup tools offer any mechanism for
configuring network interfaces. Here are a few ideas I would like to
throw out:

	* We should allow the user to configure more than one
          networking interface. The interface might or might not
          exist (laptops).

	* We should allow the user to configure PPP interfaces (we
          could take some ideas from Red Hat's RP3, which is a pretty
          good configurator for PPP interfaces).

	* Activate at boot yes/no.

	* Allow users to activate yes/no.

	* Support for DHCP

	* For networks without DHCP support, but with static IP
          allocation: Something that I have never seen before
          integrated into the system, but that i have seen hacks for
          (divine is such a hack): when a network card is plugged in
          (laptops again), we could "ping" the broadcast address or
          try to detect in what network we are in, and configure the
          interface accordingly.

	  For instance, at home, my network is 10.0.0.255, router at
	  10.0.0.2, bridge at 10.0.0.1. At work, I have some wierdo
	  static IP.

	  Home does DHCP, work is statically allocated.

Miguel.
